      • Clarity, built to scale

I’ve built internal communications programs, channels, and operating rhythms that help employees understand what matters, why it matters, and where to find what they need.

Across high-growth, global, hybrid, and remote organizations, my work has focused on turning scattered information into useful communication systems — from All Hands meetings and executive messaging to Slack guidance, newsletters, digital signage, change communications, and internal frameworks.

      • The challenge

Internal communications gets messy fast when companies grow, change, or operate across distributed teams.

Employees need context. Leaders need consistency. Teams need trusted channels. And comms needs enough structure to move quickly without becoming rigid or robotic.

That meant building systems that could:

        • keep employees informed during growth and change
        • help executives communicate with clarity and consistency
        • make company-wide meetings worth people’s time
        • reduce channel noise and confusion
        • create repeatable frameworks for sensitive or high-visibility moments
        • support employees across regions, time zones, and work environments

        What I did

I led internal communications strategy across company-wide channels, executive messaging, employee experience programs, and change moments at high-growth companies including Benchling, Pure Storage, Asana, and others.

        My work included:

        • building company-wide All Hands programs
        • advising executives and senior leaders on messaging
        • creating channel strategies, Slack guidelines, and communication standards
        • developing cascade frameworks and issues response tools
        • producing newsletters, digital signage, internal video, and campaign materials
        • creating new hire and employee resource hubs
        • supporting change communications, return-to-office, leadership transitions, and sensitive employee updates
        • tailoring communication rhythms for global and regional audiences

Benchling All Hands program & leadership alignment

        The goal:
Turn company-wide meetings into moments employees actually enjoyed and make leadership updates clearer, more engaging, and more memorable for a global hybrid team.

        The work:
I developed the All Hands strategy and programming for 900+ employees, shaping agendas, executive messaging, themes, creative concepts, and meeting flow.

For one major five-year strategy update, I built the meeting around a “moonshot” theme with a custom deck, video teaser, and leadership participation that made the strategy feel more tangible and energizing.

        The result:
The program drove a 14% increase in employees feeling informed, a 12% increase in employees rating the meeting as a good use of time, and contributed to maintaining 90%+ positive internal communications ratings.

Scalable comms systems & channel clarity

        The goal:
Create repeatable systems for internal communications moments that could not be handled ad hoc: sensitive issues, organizational updates, leadership changes, channel decisions, Slack usage, and company-wide messaging.

        The work:
I built communications frameworks and playbooks including Slack guidelines, a cascade framework, issues response tools, internal channel standards, and new hire resource hubs.

For Slack specifically, I partnered across teams to understand pain points, then created guidance for naming conventions, channel ownership, when to archive channels, where key updates belonged, and how new hires could get oriented. I also built a "Slack Buddy" bot that walked employees through the guidelines.

        The result:
The work created clearer expectations, reduced channel confusion, and helped leaders and partners make better decisions about what to say, when to say it, who needed to know, and how messages should cascade.

Benchling maintained 90%+ positive internal communications ratings, with a peak of 94% of employees feeling informed and 81% feeling connected to leadership.

Pure Storage global team alignment & communications governance

        The goal:
Make employee communications more relevant, consistent, and engaging for a global workforce navigating significant organizational change and remote work.

        The work:
I helped build a “glocalized” newsletter strategy tailored for AMER, APAC, and EMEA audiences, balancing global company priorities with regional timing, context, and relevance.

I also supported multimedia employee communications including Pure TV, internal video, digital signage, newsletter content, campaign materials, and All Hands support. To improve alignment across teams, I helped create a cross-company communications council that brought communicators and key partners together around shared priorities, upcoming messages, and channel planning.

        The result:
The work helped turn internal channels into a more coordinated communication ecosystem: more relevant regional updates, more engaging multimedia storytelling, and stronger cross-functional visibility before messages reached employees.
